Jesús Sancho

Middle East Managing Director. Infrastructure business division of ACCIONA

Since 2011, Jesús Sancho is leading the ACCIONA´S business and Infrastructure activity in the Middle East covering the fields of Construction, Water, Industrial, Concessions and Services.

He holds a Master Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and an Executive MBA (Diploma) from IESE Business School.

His career started as an aeronautical engineer at The Boeing Co. (Seattle, US) and at Daimler-Benz Aerospace (Germany). Then he moved to the airport infrastructure sector for over 10 years with Ferrovial (Spain). In 2007, he shifted to the Water industry covering the Middle East, Africa and Australia and has been based in Dubai since then.

He joined ACCIONA in 2011 as Regional Director for the Water business line of ACCIONA (Water sector) and from 2014, he took over the rest of ACCIONA´ specialized business units in the Middle East. He has been successfully developing and executing flagship infrastructure civil works, large-scale seawater desalination and wastewater treatment plants, tier 1 industrial power generation projects and world-class services for ACCIONA in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
