- Oum Azza DWTP
The DWTP is located in the municipality of Oum Azza, some 30 kilometres from Rabat. It is intended to improve drinking water supply in an area with 5 million inhabitants and which has the country’s highest population growth.
Construction is expected to take 27 months to complete. The new water treatment plant will help meet the region's drinking water demand up to the year 2030.
A Joint Venture formed by ACCIONA Agua and the local companies Jardine Electric Control Philippines (JECP) and Frey Fil are responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the Putatan Water Treatment Plant 2.
The Mundaring Water Treatment Plant is the major source of water for over 100,000 consumers connected via rural and town services that comprise the Goldfields and Agricultural Water Supply Scheme. The potable water network spans from Mundaring Weir in the Perth Hills to Kalgoorlie and considered to be the longest fresh water supply scheme in the world.
