    AL KHOBAR-1 SWRO

    Contract for the design and construction of the seawater desalination plant on the coast of Dhahran, located about 400 kilometres from Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia. Its capacity of 210,000 m3 per day makes it one of the largest desalination plants in the country.

    The EPC contract for the construction of this plant, valued at more than 200 million euros, is part of the objective of the public company, Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), to transform and modernize the water sector in Saudi Arabia.

    The facility will have a capacity of almost 210,000 m³ per day, making it one of the largest desalination plants in the country, which will serve a population of 350,000 inhabitants, in addition to serving Aramco, the world's largest oil company.
